Statement of Function

The function of The Iowa Music Teacher is to reflect the philosophy of the Iowa Music Teachers Association; to serve as a vehicle of communication for its members to their state officers, expressing their attitudes and needs: to inform the subscribers and membership of events and ideas; to report musical activity in the state; and to stimulate and encourage active interest, participation, and support for the Iowa Music Teachers Association as it maintains its role of leadership in the state of Iowa.

The Iowa Music Teachers Association is a non-profit organization.  Subscriptions are mailed automatically to members.  Non-member subscriptions are $12.00 per year (three issues of The Iowa Music Teacher and one summer newsletter).  Single copies are $8.00; sample copies furnished to prospective members without charge.

 

The Iowa Music Teacher is not a registered copyright publication.  Members may reprint anything contained herein unless there is a specific notice of copyright appended to the article or portion of an article.
